When you're making a gift tag, you want it to be sturdy, so it's better to use thicker carton to make them on. Leftover cardbord boxes or colourful cereal boxes can come in really handy here. All you'll need is a box, some scissors, a hole punch, and some ribbon.
Cut out all kinds of shapes from the cardbord. You can do this free-hand or use household utensils in that shape, tracing it on the cardbord and cutting it out afterwards.
